PROFESSIONAL PATHWAYS

We are excited to launch our all new “Professional Pathways” to both our current and soon to be Sixth Form students.

Like most Sixth Forms, we have secured links with many local organisations. Traditionally this involves supporting events such as careers fairs and interview days. The Bewdley Sixth Form Professional Pathways build on this to include the opportunity for students to deepen their understanding through practical experience and engagement within this sector, thus formalising the link and affording students an experience which makes them stand out when applying for UCAS or alternative post Sixth Form opportunities.

The initial pathways include:

• Medical – Wyre Forest Medical Group
• Engineering – Mazak
• Computing – DRPGroup
• Creative Media – DRPGroup

Many more pathways will follow over the coming months.

Work Experience

All students in Year 12 take part in one week of work experience in their chosen sector. This placement will be arranged either through the professional pathways programme or individual placements arranged with support from Mrs Korischar our careers advisor.
