- and Virgil’s Aeneid

The module involves the study of visual and material culture combined with the study of literature in translation. Set texts are:
Sophocles’ Oedipus the King
Euripides’ Bacchae
Aristophanes’ Frogs
Assessment: 75 marks
1 hour 45 minutes Written paper
Greek Religion (H408/31) OR Love and Relationships (H408/32)
These components involve the study of an area of classical thought, in combination with either the study of literature in translation or visual/material culture.
