Year 8 InterAct Students (Young Bewdley Rotarians) this term have concentrated their efforts on raising money for Cancer Research UK. Last week students held a very successful Homemade Cake and Sweet Cone Stall, which raised £250 towards the memorial fund for Mr Erbin, who sadly passed away after a long battle with Cancer.
Students really wanted to do something important to help show their appreciation and pay their respects to such a great teacher. The money raised will go towards planting a tree in his honour so that students can remember him throughout the school year. We would like to thank all the parents, staff and students who baked so many delicious cakes and to all the students who helped make the sweet cones.
