Statement from the Head Teacher

Statement from the Head Teacher

It is my very sad duty to inform you of the tragic death of Mr Ivan Liles, one of our science teachers, this weekend.

Mr Liles was my first ever Head of Department when I started teaching in 1992, and was one of the kindest and dearest people it has ever been my privilege to work with.

He has been supporting our science team over the last 4 to 5 years, and many will be devastated by his sudden and untimely loss. We shall miss him always.

As a mark of respect for Mr Liles, who was such an important part of our science team and teaching staff, there will be a one minute silence in school at 11AM on Tuesday 31^st January.

Our thoughts are with his family at this terrible time.
