Students at Bewdley have achieved exceptionally well with 72% achieving both English and Maths at Grade 4 or above and 51% at Grade 5 or above. We are delighted that these results recognise the hard work of all of the students and staff. Both of these headlines are a significant increase on the 65% and 42% achieved in 2018.
These include some truly exceptional individual performances by Year 11 students.
Head teacher, Dave Hadley-Pryce, said “We are delighted that our students have coped so well with the pressure of the linear exam regime, achieving great results which are a true reflection of their efforts. I am particularly pleased for our exceptional teaching staff who really do go above and beyond in supporting individual students. We are a school which values hard work and perseverance above all else, truly believing that anyone can achieve with sufficient self-discipline and determination. It’s great to see success across the whole range of backgrounds, reflecting the diverse range of aspiration and ability of our students and the excellent partnership between school, student and family.”
The Bewdley School welcomes all prospective students and their families to visit the school and experience everything that we have to offer.
