Congratulations to all the winners of Bewdley’s heat of the Rotary Club Young Photographer competition.
Budding photographers from The Bewdley School and Bewdley Sixth Form each submitted three photographs centred on the theme ‘The Beauty of Nature’. We had varied and exciting entries and the standards were very high. Judges Terry Livesey, Parent Governor, Colin Hill and Bob Hill, members of the Rotary Club of Bewdley, had a difficult job on their hands choosing the winners.
The Rotary Club of Bewdley awarded prizes yesterday at our annual showcase event. Thank you to all our visitors who helped make the event so special. The president of the Rotary Club of Bewdley, praised the students for their excellent work and creative ideas and announced the winning entries.
In the intermediate category first prize was awarded to Edward P. The runner up prize was awarded to Thomas W and best overall photograph was awarded to Frankie F.
In the senior category first prize was awarded to Oliver W. The runner up prize was awarded to Nathan C and best overall photograph was awarded to Bea C.
